Maintenance of Credentials (MOC)

ÃÛÌÒTV MOC History

On January 1, 2016, a program of Maintenance of Credentials (MOC) became a requirement for all new Diplomates and for any Diplomates certified prior to 2016 who volunteered to participate. The Diplomate certificates issued to Diplomates who completed their credentials and became Diplomates on or after January 1, 2016 will be current for a period of 10 years. By the end of this 10-year period, Diplomates must have met the criteria established to demonstrate that they have maintained their credentials or their certificate will become inactive, and they will no longer be recognized as Board-certified by the ÃÛÌÒTV.

If you became an ÃÛÌÒTV Diplomate prior to January 1, 2016, you may choose to participate in MOC. The process is the same as described above and your certificate will expire in ten (10) years unless you fulfill the required 75 points within the 10-year period.
